Here, you will find instructions and deadlines for your end of year project. Enjoy!

Elements of the lesson

1. Purpose or Focus: What are the most important issues, questions, concepts or ideas for the class to take away from the lesson? Teachers call these "essential questions."

2. Presentation: In total, the presentation should be centered around and answer the essential questions. The total time should be no longer than 15 minutes. I will hold each student to the 15-minute time limit so that we can get through all of the presentations before the last week of May.

Your presentation should have a movie element of your choice to include "Note Card Confessions," an Animoto, Press Conference or News Anchor style, or some other acceptable video clip created by you that lasts at least 1:30-2:00 minutes. Feel free to use any other presentation tool that we have used throughout the year for the rest of the presentation.

3. The written element:Your research should be compiled in a 2-3 page paper, which you will hand in before you deliver your lesson.* Your research should rely mostly on primary sources. Please see me if you are having trouble locating primary sources for your research.

Your paper must be properly cited, formatted, and numbered. Please see me if you do not understand what this means...after you have read the citation and formatting material that I have provided as a reference.
